The Spirit of OHS Marching Band and The Owl Band Boosters will be running our first ever March-A-Thon Fundraiser this week. We will follow the attached route on Friday beginning at 6pm. Our goal is for students to raise funds for their upcoming trip to perform at Carnegie Hall next summer and help out with other needs of the program. Students will spend the week leading up to the event collecting pledges per tenth of a mile, step, or a flat donation.
Additionally, for a donation of at least $50, we will stop and play at a house along the route. Additional sponsorship options exist for larger donations that can have business logos displayed and announced during halftime at home games.
Annual Required Bus Rider Meeting –Come and Go- Parents Meet Drivers
August 20th- 5:30-7:30 PM- Odem High School Cafetorium
All parents of students who will be utilizing district transportation services from home to school and or school to home must stop by the transportation table during this timeframe on August 20th in order to receive bus route information, pick-up/arrival times, the student code of conduct for being a bus rider, and other essential information for a successful and safe school year with the district’s transportation services.
Picture ID’s-PK-2nd Grade Students: All bus riders in grades PK- 2nd grade, will need to have their picture taken during this timeframe on August 20th and picture ID badges will be required for these students to wear “daily” while riding the district busses at all times for their safety.
OEISD New Students to the District Registration Pre – Kindergarten – 12th Grade Monday and Tuesday, August 10th & 11th , 2015 Odem High School Library 9:00am – 11:30 am and 1:00 pm -4:00 pm This registration is for students enrolling for the 1st time into our district.
OEISD Late Returning Student Registration 1st – 12th Grade Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 Odem High School Library 8:00 am – 11:30 am This registration will be for returning students who have not yet turned in their registration.
To help us with this registration process, please provide the following information:
• Current Up- to-date Immunization Records • Birth Certificate • Social Security Card • Driver’s License I.D. (Parent/Guardian enrolling student) • Current Proof of Residence (i.e. electric, water, cable etc. bill showing physical address)

To help us with Schedule Pickup process, please provide and note the following information:
• Need a copy of Current Proof of residence • (i.e. electric, water, cable etc. bill showing physical address)
• Each family will need to fill out Lunch Application
• Returning students with any outstanding Library Fees will need to be paid before releasing schedule(Letters were mailed)

Odem Elementary will have pre-registration for Prekindergarten, Kinder and New Students to the district on Tuesday, June 16th, 2015, at the Odem Elementary office at 9:00 am to 11:00 am and from 1:15 pm to 3:00 p.m. This pre-registration is for students enrolling for the first time in our district.
PK will have full day sessions for the 2015-2016 school year. We will have three (3) sessions, must be of age by September 1st. PK-3 (3 yr. olds), & PK-4 (4 yr. olds) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
To help us with this registration process, please be sure to complete all registration and medical information as accurately as possible and bring the following documents:
Up-to-date immunization records
