Museum Mission Statement:
The mission of the Odem-Edroy ISD Ex-Students Association Museum is to document and preserve the history of the district and the student experience, and to enhance and promote the proud legacy of being an Odem Owl.
Museum Policy:
The museum is a collaborative effort between the Odem-Edroy ISD and the Odem-Edroy Ex-Students Association. Association volunteers worked to establish and set up the museum and will maintain the collection. Everything in the collection is either an item that had been preserved by the district or was donated by individuals. While the district provides the museum facility and utilities, the Odem-Edroy ISD Ex-Students Association Museum is sustained by donations from the public. Since space in the museum is limited, museum volunteers also, have the right to rotate items displayed, reject items, and archive duplicate items. All items are catalogued, and a record of the donation is maintained. Items donated by the district remain the property of the district. Items donated by individuals are available to be returned to the donor upon written request.

Donations:
The Odem-Edroy ISD Ex-Students Association Museum is always looking for more memorabilia to add to the collection. Individuals who have items from their OEISD school days may donate those items to the museum. Donors should contact the Odem- Edroy ISD Ex-Students Association to make their donation by emailing
oeisdexes@gmail.com or calling 361-876-8076. Items can be dropped off at the OEISD Superintendent’s Office, located in the Administration Building, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am each weekday when the school is open.
Class Reunions:
Any classes planning reunions are invited to visit the museum as part of their activities. Please contact the Odem-Edroy ISD Ex-Students Association by emailing oeisdexes@gmail.com or calling 361-876-8076. The Association will work with the school regarding the request.
Location and Museum Hours:
The museum is located on the campus of the Odem Junior High School at 1 Owl Square and is open to the public on the 1st Tuesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.  Additional openings may be scheduled each month.  Please check the Association Facebook page for further information.
